This handsome Rival 41 aft cockpit was purchased from new by the previous owners, launched in 1981, and sailed to Greece where she spent
most of the next 15 years. She was brought back to the UK and we bought her, via Berthon, in January 1997.
Since then she has been kept, and sailed, in UK waters by us.
She had a good survey back then and all items requiring work were addressed. She was also epoxied and later
we had Copper Coat applied. This is still seems to work well, provided it is abraded with Scotchbrite every year or two. The rudder
was treated for osmosis when we got her and probably needs doing again.
